Like all of you, we’re doing our best to cope with what’s going on in the world right now. The rapidly evolving situation with the coronavirus has affected everybody, and that includes not only us here at USA Triathlon, but everyone who participates and interacts in our wonderful multisport community. ⠀ ⠀ During times like this, it’s important we take a step back, knowing that this is way bigger than our races, our organization and our sport. ⠀ ⠀ We are thinking of all the people around the world right now who are impacted by this pandemic, especially those who’ve lost loved ones, those who are sick, those who are in high-risk groups and those in the medical field who are working tirelessly to help people in need. ⠀ ⠀ Right now, we think it’s normal to feel a wide range of emotions — uneasy, anxious, confused and more. But our sport, our community and our world can overcome this. While we will continue to keep you in the loop on any important updates from this fluid situation — you can click the link in our bio for the most timely information — we will also do our best to share some positive, uplifting and light-hearted stories, because frankly, we could all use a little bit of that right now. ⠀ ⠀ Just know we’re with you and we’re all going to get through this together. ⠀ ⠀ Love, Your friends at USAT

We’re triathletes. We’re strong. We adapt. We overcome adversity.⠀ ⠀ This is a difficult time for all of us. Right now, it’s important to remember that although our routine might change, we can still strive to be the best versions of ourselves through this wonderful sport we love.⠀ ⠀ Let’s all diligently wash our hands and practice social distancing, but not forget that we can still enjoy the great outdoors. In fact, for our personal health and well-being, it’s critical. Unplug, step outside and breathe.⠀ ⠀ Let’s enjoy those runs on our favorite trails.⠀ ⠀ Let’s take the bike out for a long, solo ride.⠀ ⠀ Let’s enjoy each day and stay positive.⠀ ⠀ Let’s support and check in on our friends, encouraging them in all that they do.⠀ ⠀ Let’s continue to make small improvements in our training, not losing sight of our goals ahead.⠀ ⠀ We’re triathletes.
